VP, Intelligence and Sensing
George Dalton is the current VP of the Intelligence and Sensing Division. Mr. Dalton joined CFD Research in December 2020 to lead the company’s Dayton Operations and continues to lead that facility. His current focus is on providing direct support for our Dayton customers and strategic growth of promising CFD Research technologies through cooperative engagement with industry and government partners. Prior to joining CFD Research, he spent 37 years in the aerospace and defense industry in the design, development and operational deployment of Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance (ISR), Air Support Operations, and Space Battle Management Systems. He is also an officer and founding member of the Open Group’s Sensor Open System Architecture (SOSA) Consortium. Mr. Dalton earned his Master of Business Administration from The Ohio State University, Columbus, as well as a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), Dayton. His Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology is from the University of Southern Mississippi – Gulf Coast. He also completed all-but-dissertation (ABD) in a PhD program in Electrical Engineering at AFIT. He is a member of Tau Beta Pi and Eta Kappa Nu.
