Stephen Cayson, who has nearly three decades of aerospace and defense industry experience, is CFDRC’s new chief technology partnerships officer. Cayson will serve as a liaison between the company’s research and development (R&D) division and its partners and customers.
He will also grow relationships with industry, government and academic institutions, as well as the new Export Support Services Division within CFDRC. He will lead business development for the firm and program management of work focused and executed on the customer’s work site.
Cayson previously spent 25 years as a Department of Army Civilian at the Aviation and Missile Research, Development, and Engineering Center (AMRDEC) and the Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC) on Redstone Arsenal.
The Mississippi State University graduate has a master’s degree in engineering from UAH and serves on the board of directors for the Tennessee Valley Chapter of the National Defense Industrial Association and the Advisory Board for the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Mississippi State.
