(Huntsville, Ala. | June 21, 2021) CFD Research announced today that Mr. Matthew Bender has joined the company as Vice President of Strategic Initiatives. In this role, MR. Bender will be responsible for evaluating and executing strategic projects and initiatives to accelerate the overall growth of CFD Research and enable the company to fulfill its vision of transforming the future through innovative technology solutions.
Mr. Bender joins CFD Research after spending over 20 years with Dynetics, where he started his engineering career. For several years, he led development of real-time embedded hardware and software for communication and electronic warfare applications. This work led him to support the foundation of Dynetics’ ability to manufacture prototype electronics for these DoD customers, later becoming the Vice President of the Product Development and Manufacturing Division. In this position, Matt oversaw significant growth of the company’s hardware and products solutions business.

Bender earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University, in South Carolina, and his Master’s Degree in Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
