CFDRC is relocating its Biotechnology Labs (for microfluidics, nanochemistry, and cell analysis) to Hudson Alpha Institute in Cummings Research Park in Huntsville. This move will include relocation of 12 employees, and be completed in January 2008. We foresee strong collaborations with the principal investigators of the Institute, as well as other member companies.
As a first step in this process, CFDRC attended the Official Opening of the Hudson Alpha Associates Wing on Friday Nov 9, 2007. The ceremonies were attended by several hundreds of people, including Bob Riley (Governor of Alabama), Loretta Spencer (Huntsville City Mayor), congressional delegations, and Jim Hudson (founder).
