(Huntsville, Ala.) CFD Research is excited to announce the addition of Mr. Greg Joseph as the Vice President of Corporate Development, a strategic move to strengthen the company’s growth. With 18 years of experience in the Aerospace & Defense industry, Greg is well-equipped to guide CFD Research towards new opportunities and partnerships.
Greg’s responsibilities include managing the pipeline of opportunities, with a focus on building relationships with strategic customers and partners. This effort is aimed at enabling CFD Research to bid on larger prime contracts. Greg will also play a key role in refining the company’s proposal processes to improve project acquisition.
Before joining CFD Research, Greg had a significant career in the Aerospace & Defense sector, specializing in strategic business development and program management operations at ERC. His journey started with designing orbit dynamics, hardware-in-the-loop, GNC analysis, and software development. Over time, Greg transitioned into a Development Technical Specialist role, establishing partnerships in both government (NASA, DoD) and commercial sectors.
In his role as Program Manager for SEMATS and later as the Executive Vice President of Business Development, Greg spearheaded initiatives supporting NASA and the Department of Defense.
Greg holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston, a Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Purdue University, and an MBA from the University of West Florida.
Apart from his professional achievements, Greg brings a diverse set of interests and hobbies to the CFD Research team, ranging from hydroponic gardening to hiking, backpacking, small electronic hobby projects, and a passion for reading sci-fi. Additionally, he has recently embarked on the journey of learning to play the guitar.
