CFD Research Supports The Liz Hurley Breast Cancer Fund

CFD Research has a long and successful history as a corporate sponsor for the annual Liz Hurley Ribbon Run in support of Breast Cancer Research that reflects our emphasis on women’s health and our desire to support issues that are important to our employees and community. 

Over the course of the past few years, CFD Research’s passion to support the Liz Hurley Breast Cancer Fund has grown into a series of company events, shaping part of our company culture. The most popular events are company lunches – with themes ranging from a Football Tailgate to Chili Cookoff’s and authentic Indian Food.  Staff bring in homemade dishes and employees make small donations to enjoy the food. 

Other fundraising events include the annual CFD Research Poker Tournament and a pint night at a local brewery. All these events are about raising money for a good cause, but have become a fabric of how we interact and build relationships across the organization. This year CFD Research decided to embark upon a larger endeavor to support the Liz Hurley Breast Cancer Fund.

“We wanted to take our support of this important issue to new levels and decided to partner with the Liz Hurley Breast Cancer Fund to sponsor the CFD Research-Liz Hurley Golf Classic,” CFD Research Chief Operating Officer, Steve Cayson said.

On October 15^th, the first annual CFD Research-Liz Hurley Golf Classic took place, and raised $18,000 for the Liz Hurley Breast Cancer Fund. We are immensely thankful to our sponsors for donating to this cause, and to Cherokee Ridge Country Club for graciously hosting such a wonderful event.
