CFD Research Corporation Exhibiting at 2013 SMD Symposium
Huntsville, AL – August 2, 2013 – CFD Research Corporation will be exhibiting at the 2013 Space & Missile Defense Symposium August 12-15 in Huntsville, AL. We invite our customers, collaborators, and other interested parties to visit our booth (#1115). Meet with CFDRC staff and learn more about highlighted technologies and test facilities such as the award winning Missile Weather Toolkit program, and the design, fabrication, and testing of our Throttleable Solid Rocket Motor (TSRM) and Air Turbo Rocket (ATR) prototypes. Other items of interest to the SMD community include advanced thermal battery technologies, propellant design tools, and unified flow solver and cyber security technologies.
This year marks a new chapter for CFDRC with LTG(ret) Joseph M. Cosumano Jr., former Commanding General, Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC) heading the company as president. Mr. Cosumano will be in attendance at the event and looks forward to meeting former associates and making new connections. “I came to CFDRC based on the immense talent and technology pool available,” said Mr. Cosumano. “Technologies like those highlighted at the SMD symposium form the basis of our company and it is CFDRC’s mission to develop these technologies into valuable solutions for our warfighters.”
Huntsville is also the location of CFDRC’s headquarters so if you are visiting from out of town and would like a tour of CFDRC’s facilities or to arrange for one-on-one meetings with any of our staff, please let us know.
