(Huntsville, Ala. | January 5, 2021) – CFD Research announced that George Dalton has joined the company as vice president for Dayton operations. In this role, Mr. Dalton will be responsible for providing direct support for our Dayton customers and strategic growth of promising CFD Research technologies through cooperative engagement with our industry and government partners. Mr. Dalton will ensure strong alignment between internal focus areas and customer needs, and be instrumental in developing and incubating key business relationships.
Mr. Dalton has 37 years of experience in the military and defense industry, including 24 years on active duty. Prior to joining CFD Research, he was a Director at KeyW Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Jacobs, and previously a Department of Defense acquisition corps member serving in multiple roles for U.S. Air Force acquisition. Mr. Dalton has also held several roles in the aerospace and defense industry relating to the design, development and operational deployment of Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance (ISR), Air Support Operations, and Space Battle Management Systems. He is also an officer and founding member of the Open Group’s Sensor Open System Architecture (SOSA) Consortium.

Mr. Dalton earned his Master of Business Administration from The Ohio State University, Columbus, as well as a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), Dayton. His baccalaureate in Electronic Engineering Technology is from the University of Southern Mississippi – Gulf Coast. He also completed all-but-dissertation (ABD) in a PhD program in Electrical Engineering at AFIT. He is a member of Tau Beta Pi and Eta Kappa Nu.
