CFD Research Corporation Holds Ribbon Cutting/Open House at New Facilities
HUNTSVILLE – CFD Research Corporation celebrated the opening of new facilities in Cummings Research Park, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, November 19, 2013.
“Our new facilities are evidence that we have embarked on a new path of innovation and applications by broadening our aerospace base with biomedical, energy and materials. We call this quest, CFDRC version 2.0,” said company president Joseph M. Cosumano Jr. The new 29,000 square foot facility, located at 701 McMillian Way, “has an outstanding layout for R&D with state of the art laboratories,” noted Cosumano, a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant General who joined the company in 2013.
Local officials, dignitaries, employees, and well-wishers attended the afternoon event. Members of the Huntsville Area Chamber of Commerce also participated in the ceremony.
